Job Summary

Responsibilities
Description
- The focus of this position is to provide frontline IT support and guidance to Radiation Oncology department members and faculty and coordinate with other HCI IT associates to help address IT needs within a complex, technology rich environment.
- Interacts with HCI-IT Help Desk, RadOnc and Server System Administrators and IT Security in helping craft configuration standards that meet the needs of RadOnc users.
- Follow up and coordinate with customers, internal staff, and vendors as required.
- Document system configurations, processes, and guidelines in order to provide accurate information related to IT services.
- Customers include RadOnc leadership, physicians, research scientists, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.
Additional requirements
- Requires demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, with both other IT professionals and with customers & groups, and ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with users and teammates on specific issues.
- Requires a high level of interpersonal skill and the ability to work within a varied, demanding environment.
- Experience with both MS Windows and Macintosh, M365, resolving a variety of problems and working with multiple vendors on specialized clinical and/or research systems.
- Optional skill set: Linux systems management and Linux systems management in a Windows centric environment a plus

- This position will require on-call and after-hours support on an as-needed basis.
