Job Details

Title: Frontend Developer with Backbone.js

Mode of Work: Remote Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Backbone.js-based web applications

  • Write clean, scalable, and modular JavaScript code using Backbone s models, views, collections, and routers

  • Integrate front-end logic with RESTful APIs and third-party services

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement new features

  • Refactor and modernize legacy Backbone code where appropriate

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design practices

  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

  • Document technical specifications and implementation details

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of frontend development experience

  • Hands-on experience with Backbone.js

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery

  • Solid grasp of RESTful API integration

  • Familiarity with Git and version control best practice.

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
