Job Title: Customer Engineer

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Pay: 22.00 an hr

Job Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Description:

Role Overview: The End User Device Technician will primarily be responsible for providing end-user support for a client based out of Spartanburg, SC. This includes the installation, repair, setup, configuration, upgrade, and relocation of end-user devices. Additionally, the role will involve office moves/setup and minimal migration tasks

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, setup, configure, and upgrade end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist with office moves/setup, including relocating and setting up end-user devices at new locations.
  • Provide minimal migration support during office moves or technology upgrades.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to end-user devices.
  • Ensure timely completion of end-user support requests and tickets.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Document all activities, configurations, and changes accurately.
  • Collaborate with other IT support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in end-user device support or related field preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in installing, repairing, and configuring end-user devices.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common office software applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.


Work Schedule:
  • Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation and alternating work days.
  • On Call: Yes.
  • Variable Schedule: Yes.
  • Overtime: Yes.
