JOB DESCRIPTION
Alvaria Aspect Engineer to manage and maintain our Alvaria Aspect platform. This role is critical for ensuring system stability, security, and performance through timely updates and thorough testing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Windows environments, database management, and software lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
•    System Maintenance & Updates
o    Apply Windows OS patches and security updates to Alvaria Aspect servers.
o    Perform database updates and schema changes as required.
o    Install and configure Alvaria Aspect software updates and hotfixes.
•    Testing & Validation
o    Conduct comprehensive system testing post-update to ensure functionality and stability.
o    Validate integrations and confirm that all services are operational after changes.
o    Document test results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
•    Troubleshooting & Support
o    Diagnose and resolve issues related to Alvaria Aspect components.
o    Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for escalated support.
•    Compliance & Documentation
o    Maintain accurate records of updates, patches, and system changes.
o    Ensure compliance with organizational security and operational standards.
Qualifications
•    Technical Skills
o    Familiarity with Alvaria Aspect platform architecture and components.
o    Familiarity with Windows Server administration.
•    Experience
o    3+ years in system engineering or similar role.
o    Hands-on experience with patch management and software deployment.
•    Soft Skills
o    Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
o    Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications
•    Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or equivalent.
•    Database Administration certifications (SQL Server).
•    Alvaria Aspect product certifications (if available).
Work Schedule
•    As needed nights / weekends (no daytime hours)
o    Will have about 5+ days notice of required work
•    Part-time hours: about 4-6 hours per week
o    Two changes per weekend, roughly 2-3 hours each
