About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects, ideally within the financial or healthcare industry. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Project Initiation:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Secure necessary approvals and resources.
• Project Planning:
  • Create comprehensive project schedules and work breakdown structures.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Develop effective communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
• Project Execution:
  • Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Project Monitoring and Control:
  • Track project performance against established KPIs and metrics.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular status reviews with project stakeholders.
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks and challenges.
• Project Closure:
  • Conduct a final project review and evaluation.
  • Document project lessons learned and best practices.
  • Ensure project deliverables are transferred to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management.
• Proven experience managing projects in the financial or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) or healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHR, EMR).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX).
• Experience with data migration and integration projects.
