Role: Identity Management Technical PM
Location: Onsite - Bay Area, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, RTP, NC (Need locals from any of these locations)

- Understanding or familiarity of with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, CyberArk, etc.
Job Description:
This G11 cross-functional TPM role requires a proven leader who can orchestrate complex Cross Functional programs spanning Security, IT, Engineering, Product Management, Compliance, and Legal teams. This role demands someone who can establish program charters, manage cross-functional dependencies, mitigate risks, and drive execution while maintaining alignment with both business objectives and evolving security requirements. The position carries significant influence over Business Unit strategies and requires the ability to lead teams and stakeholders through complex deliverables.
Key Skills and Experience
- In-depth experience with Jira and Confluence (Cloud)
- Mastery of both Agile/Scrum/Iterative methodologies and Waterfall approaches
- Proficient with MS Project for comprehensive program planning
- Strong status reporting capabilities with emphasis on tracking issues and dependencies
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively present to senior leadership
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation before issues impact program delivery
- Adaptability to work with teams that have different operating styles and ways of working
- Skilled at navigating complex political environments while maintaining program momentum
Experience and Knowledge
- Typically: Bachelors + 12 years of related experience
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs across Security, IT, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal.
- Understanding or familiarity with IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, provisioning/deprovisioning, identity federation (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), etc.
- Understanding or familiarity with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, CyberArk, etc.
- Skilled in defining program charters, managing dependencies, conducting risk management, and driving execution across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, including sprint planning, roadmap development, and stakeholder alignment.
Scope and Accountability
- Leads and plans large-scale, complex programs with interdependencies and impact across multiple functions, regions, customers, and partners.
- Program outcomes may influence Business Unit strategy (e.g., new or complex NPI programs).
- Agile: Manages multiple programs at the product level.
- Provides guidance and oversight; mentors and coaches senior program managers and/or other team members.
- Typical strategic horizon: multi-year.
Domain Knowledge
- Exercises expert-level depth and breadth of knowledge across multiple engineering and technical domains to deliver program objectives.
- Recognized expert in agile principles and methods; drives agile transformation at an organizational scale.
Planning and Execution
- Oversees alignment and implementation of roadmaps and program plans across functions.
- Drives cross-functional strategic planning processes and establishes a unified program vision.
- Influences coordination of internal technical resources and external parties from planning through deployment.
Resource and Risk Management
- Oversees critical project risks and critical path management.
- Formulates pre-emptive, risk-informed solutions with clear trade-offs.
- Develops strategic policies to increase utilization efficiency and reduce costs.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Provides strategic input and guidance to internal stakeholders and leaders regarding anticipated business direction changes.
- Cascades priorities and objectives to teams.
- Presents program status, technical issues, and complex risks to executives.
- Leverages cross-functional purview to provide context and alternatives for issue resolution.
Process and Quality Improvement
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, best practices, and tools.
- Evaluates results and provides recommendations on complex work assignments.
Product Development Lifecycle
- Leads development and implementation of product development lifecycle strategies.
- Aligns engineering strategies across applicable teams in anticipation of evolving product development environments.
