Job Summary:

V2 Innovations Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled Python MATLAB Engineer for a full-time, permanent onsite role based in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in MATLAB development, Python programming, and experience building RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask or Django. The role involves working with data structures, visualization, UI creation, and real-time signal data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using MATLAB, focusing on data structures, algorithms, file processing, visualization, and user interface development.

  • Utilize Python for backend development with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, NumPy, Pandas, and REST API frameworks like Flask or Django.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable solutions for processing and visualizing data.

  • Interpret and visualize data received from mobile phone receivers, creating graphs and charts to meet customer requirements.

  • Apply software engineering best practices to build, test, and deploy maintainable and high-performance code.

  • (Optional) Leverage C++ for file handling and additional object-oriented development when needed.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or a related role.

  • Strong experience with MATLAB for data processing, visualization, and UI development.

  • Proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of OOP, NumPy, Pandas, and API development.

  • Experience working with Flask or Django to build and deploy RESTful APIs.

  • Ability to process and visualize data using graphs and charts in accordance with client specifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with C++, particularly in file processing and OOP.

  • Background in signal/data processing or telecommunications is a plus.

  • Familiarity with mobile phone receiver data formats.
