Role : Guidewire Claims Center Developer

Location : Remote OR Toronto, ON 

Type:-Contract

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations and configurations for Guidewire ClaimsCenter applications.
- Work with business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Implement integrations with external systems and services to enhance the claims processing capabilities.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed functionalities to ensure quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the development lifecycle, providing technical guidance and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guidewire ClaimsCenter applications.
- Stay updated with the latest Guidewire releases and technologies, recommending upgrades and enhancements to optimize the claims management process.
- Document technical specifications, project activities, and processes for future reference and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Guidewire ClaimsCenter developer, with a strong understanding of claims management processes and workflows.
- Proficient in programming, Guidewire Configuration and Integration, and Web Services.
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter versions 8.x or newer is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in a Scrum-based development environment.
