Job Details

ONSITE ROLE FROM DAY ONE TO CARLSBAD, CA.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jira Administrator with 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Atlassian Jira environments, particularly Jira Cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ScriptRunner, eazyBI, Forge Apps, and must have migration experience, particularly with moving from on-premise/server environments to Jira Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Jira Cloud environments to support various business needs.

  • Design, implement, and manage custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and issue types.

  • Utilize ScriptRunner to create advanced automation scripts, validators, conditions, and post-functions.

  • Develop and maintain eazyBI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Work with Forge apps to extend Jira Cloud functionality and build custom solutions where necessary.

  • Lead and support Jira migration projects, including data integrity validation, user permissions, and configuration alignment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Ensure best practices, documentation, and governance for Jira usage and administration.

  • Provide end-user support and training to maximize productivity and adoption of Jira solutions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6 7 years of experience as a Jira Administrator with focus on Jira Cloud.

  • Proven experience with ScriptRunner for Jira (cloud and/or server).

  • Strong knowledge of eazyBI for report creation and data visualization.

  • Hands-on experience with Forge Apps development and customization.

  • Demonstrated success in Jira migration projects (e.g., server to cloud).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Atlassian certifications (preferred but not required).
