Job Title: Marketing Project Manager
Location: Baltimore (Canton Crossing), MD
Type: Contract - 6 + months
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid onsite 2 days/week, 3 days remote
PURPOSE:
Plans, organizes, and manages small to mid-scale marketing projects for successful delivery of objectives, on time and within budget. Initiates, engages, and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver results. Identifies and mitigates risk and escalates as needed. Tracks progress and drives documentation to support project needs. Ensures end to end leadership for implementations, integration, business readiness and communications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 3+ years Marketing Project Management experience within Marketing and Digital Assets areas.
Must have experience working with Project Management tools
Very strong organizational and communication skills
Healthcare experience is highly preferred for this project
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Project Management, Business or related field
In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience in the Healthcare Industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Ability to exercise good judgment
Project planning and life cycle development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
40% Plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, tracks schedules, mitigates risks.
20% Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for
medium-size projects. Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects. Coordinates issues throughout CareFirst, and externally when necessary, to promote accurately represented information.
20% Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through the use of critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements.
20% Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture. Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors. Leads the execution of the project.
