Mode: Onsite
Duration: Long Term, 35hrs/week (7hrs + 1hr break per day)

Job Description:
Financial industry experience & Knowledge of VDI

a) Technical Support for PCs, printers and mobile devices etc.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software
- Thin Client for VMware VDI setup and troubleshooting.
- PC setup (Windows OS installation, memory & disk replacement etc.)
- Response to queries either in person or over the phone/email.
b) Documentation for technical support
- User manuals (revise/update), Asset managements Required experience/knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in PC technical support.
- MDM support experience
- Experience of ticket management system such as LANDesk, Remedy or ServiceNow
- Knowledge in scripted deployment of applications (using Altiris or SCCM)
- Knowledge in Windows 7 and Windows 10
- Knowledge in Active Directory function: adding users, password reset, etc.
- Basic knowledge in TCP/IP networking for troubleshooting: PING, TRACEROUTE,
NETSTAT, IPCONFIG, etc.
- Knowledge in Antivirus software and its operation for corporate use (Symantec, etc.)
- Knowledge in MS Office.

Responsibilities:
Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
Assist users with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
Monitor and maintain network performance, including TCP/IP configurations.
Conduct routine maintenance on IT infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
Document and track support requests using ticketing systems.
Collaborate with other IT team members to implement solutions for complex problems.
Train staff on new technologies and software applications as needed.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Active Directory for user management.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking principles and practices.
Experience in desktop support, including hardware repairs and installations.
Proficient in computer management and network administration tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to assist users clearly and effectively.
