Role Title: SAS Developer

Location: Remote

Must have Prior experience in the healthcare industry.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAS Developer with 10+ years of expertise in data analysis, ETL, and a strong background in the healthcare domain. This role involves working with large datasets, developing data analytics solutions, and delivering insights to support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data analytics programs and ETL processes using SAS and relational databases.

  • Collect, clean, and aggregate data from a variety of sources for analytics use cases.

  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations using SAS and other BI tools based on business requirements.

  • Utilize BI, data visualization, and statistical tools to perform in-depth analysis and provide actionable insights.

  • Translate moderately complex business problems into data-driven solutions.

  • Identify issues and provide recommendations for data and process improvements.

  • Collaborate with business users for new feature development, enhancements, and troubleshooting.

  • Operate independently and meet tight project deadlines.

  • Maintain a growth and problem-solving mindset.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in BASE SAS, SAS Macros, Proc SQL.

  • 10+ years of data analysis experience working with large datasets and various relational databases.

  • 10+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.

  • 4+ years of scripting experience with Python or JavaScript.

  • Must have Prior experience in the healthcare industry.

  • Strong understanding of modern data pipelines and data integration processes for analytics and machine learning.

  • Excellent analytical, financial, and business acumen.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Advanced SAS Programming Certification.

  • 3+ years of experience creating dashboards using Power BI.
