What You'll Do:
This position in the Transmission Meter Operations (TMO) group provides technical support to the field, Settlements and Billing, Standards Engineering, Generation and other stakeholders. A primary focus will be programming and configuring advanced electronic meters for appropriate measurements and multiple communications protocols. The engineer will work with vendors on evaluating standard equipment to purchase as well as issue resolution with our current assets. This role is required to learn and fully understand industry testing standards in order to maintain compliance obligations and ensure revenue quality data is obtained. Our engineer also assists with documentation (policies, procedures, audit controls), asset and records management, work planning, and training/development of our other team members.

Engineer (SG6): ($72,380 - $90,475)
Acceptable alternative is:
Engineer (SG7): ($85,081 - $106,354)
Engineer Sr (SG8) (96,110 - $125,000)
Engineer Prin (SG9) (112,869 - $140,000)
Acceptable alternative is:
**VP or above may waive the requirement for a degree from a university with an Non ABET accredited program
Other Requirements:
- 10% Travel Required

- Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*. Advanced Degree Preferred (master's degree).
- Individuals with a Master's degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.
- *ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
Acceptable alternative is:
- a Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
Engineer (SG7): ($85,081 - $106,354)
- Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; or 2 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's degree in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*. Advanced Degree Preferred (master's degree).
Engineer Sr (SG8) (96,110 - $125,000)
- Has typically acquired 6 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; or 4 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's degree in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*
- Advanced Degree Preferred (master's degree).
Engineer Prin (SG9) (112,869 - $140,000)
- Has typically acquired 8 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; or 6 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*.
Acceptable alternative is:
- (1) a Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.** Confirmation is required to ensure the PE obtained in Puerto Rico aligns with NCEES standards.
