Job Details

Amentum is currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Specialist to support the PM Soldier Warrior (PM SWAR) project office under PEO Soldier, Ft.Belvoir, VA. This position will afford you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team whose mission is to rapidly deliver agile/adaptive, leading edge Soldier capabilities to provide combat over match today and be more lethality tomorrow.

Responsibilities:
As a Test and Evaluation Specialist you will support the PdM Soldier Maneuver Sensors (SMS) Nett Warrior program. You will use your experience to support test and evaluation requirements at the PdM SMS headquarters at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Day-to-day duties will include:
  • Plans and manages assignments, progress and evaluates results.
  • Develop and staff for approval Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) to support program milestones.
  • Coordinate with the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) to determine and develop appropriate Testing strategies.
  • Monitor ATEC activities to ensure adequacy of testing and assessments to ensure they have the data and results needed to support independent evaluation.
  • Attend testing events and report test results and issues as required by PM.
  • Evaluate test data, develop risk assessment document and assess risks, and develop test result summaries for leadership briefings.
  • Work with Assistant Product Managers, Product Leads and PMs to understand interfaces and address and resolve integration issues.
  • Review test plans, test procedures, test reports and system assessment reports, for adequacy, accuracy, and identification of issues.
  • Ensure all Government test planning documents are uploaded to the appropriate databases.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (any field) and 5 years of related experience
  • Willingness to travel on the job (up to 25%)
  • Secret clearance required start (Please Note: ship is required to obtain a US Secret Clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience participating or leading a Data Authentication Group (DAG) Reviews
  • Be willing to travel
  • Be familiar with Radio operations, SW integration, and system planning
  • Prior experience supporting DOD contracts, especially US Army
