Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with 12+ years of experience designing, developing, and owning technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, specifically focused on custom application development.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in building custom applications (scoped applications) within ServiceNow.
This role requires a strong ability to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions while adhering to best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Build and maintain custom applications and advanced configurations within the ServiceNow platform.
Solution Ownership: Provide creative, best-practice-driven application development expertise to deliver robust solutions for internal business and technical clients.
Project Execution: Plan, execute, monitor, and control all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
Agile Delivery: Ensure efficient throughput of solutions aligned with roadmap priorities and Agile release schedules.
Data & Transformation: Coordinate, document, and resolve complex technical data and transformation issues.
Requirements Analysis: Obtain, analyze, and interpret business requirements to create scalable and sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
Technical Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for custom applications, answering how-to configuration questions, troubleshooting, and debugging critical issues.
Compliance Reporting: Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor and ensure service level compliance, supporting highly complex reporting requirements and processes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years as a ServiceNow engineer/developer with hands-on experience in custom application development.
Custom Applications: Proven ability to design and build custom applications within ServiceNow, while capable of documenting all technical aspects of the solution.
Reporting & Dashboards: Extensive experience designing and implementing complex, aggregated service level compliance dashboard/reporting solutions, going beyond standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) service level functionality.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), workflows, and integrations.
Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and release management.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
