We re looking for a Group Product Manager Retirement to lead the charge on our client s retirement product offerings. In this high-impact role, you ll set the vision and strategy for our retirement plan services, guide a team of talented product managers, and work cross-functionally to bring innovative solutions to life. SALARY OFFERED: Up to $247K OTE depending on candidate experience, etc.

WHAT YOU LL DO:

  • Lead a team of product managers focused on delivering best-in-class retirement solutions.
  • Set product strategy and ensure roadmaps align with customer needs and company goals.
  • Drive end-to-end execution, from discovery and prioritization to development and launch.
  • Partner closely with sales, operations, compliance, service, and marketing to ensure cohesive product delivery.
  • Oversee product governance, backlog management, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and review business cases, product briefs, and market analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach product managers to grow their skills and maximize their impact.
  • Stay ahead of trends in ERISA regulations, plan design, competitor offerings, and advisor tools.
  • Represent the retirement product line in executive discussions and strategic planning.
  • Support team growth through hiring, onboarding, and performance management.

WHAT YOU LL BRING:

  • Bachelor s degree required; Preferred: MBA or certifications like AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute, Series 65, etc.
  • 7 10+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years leading people.
  • A track record of building and scaling financial services or fintech products especially those with complex regulatory requirements.
  • Strong grasp of product management frameworks, agile practices, and product lifecycle management.
  • Confident in setting vision, strategy, and execution plans across multiple initiatives.
  • Experience developing business cases and understanding basic financial modeling (e.g., income statements).
  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of retirement plans, ERISA, and advisor tools is a strong plus.
