Job Title: Data Analytics Controls Solutions Lead
Location: New York, NY / Pittsburgh, PA Hybrid Onsite
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview:
The Data Analytics Controls Solutions Lead will be responsible for defining technical strategy and architecture for a complex data platform integration and migration project. This role involves leading the design of data migration strategies, implementing data and cloud controls, evaluating technology stacks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

Role Overview:
The Data Analytics Controls Solutions Lead will be responsible for defining technical strategy and architecture for a complex data platform integration and migration project. This role involves leading the design of data migration strategies, implementing data and cloud controls, evaluating technology stacks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the data analytics controls solution lead for a large-scale data platform integration and migration project.
- Define technical strategy and target state architecture for cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
- Lead the design and execution of data migration strategies from legacy platforms to cloud environments.
- Provide technical guidance in designing target state platforms and solutions.
- Implement cloud and data governance controls across platforms and solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and reference architectures for the target state.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business stakeholders, analytics, and reporting teams) to:
- Define technical roadmaps.
- Communicate status, risks, and dependencies effectively.
- Drive design and architecture discussions, ensuring best practices and scalability.
- Build platform roadmaps and define long-term architecture strategies.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- 10+ years of experience in technology design, architecture, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) and related services:
- Data Lakes: S3 or Blob.
- Databases (any 2): Snowflake, Postgres, SQL Server, Redshift.
- Data Transformation (any 1): Glue, Databricks, Data Factory, Coalesce.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end data migration projects (cloud and on-premise to modern cloud ecosystems).
- Hands-on experience implementing data and cloud governance controls:
- Exposure to any data governance tool.
- MDM management.
- Using cloud infrastructure for governance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to architect complex data solutions.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple geographies to provide scalable solutions.
- Proven ability to lead technical design and architecture discussions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with business, risk, and technology teams.
Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
