Akkodis is seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR(Remote). Youwill be responsible for building scalable data pipelines and integrating Azure Data tools to support advanced analytics and data transformation workflows.
Rate Range: $56/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour

Azure Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and PySpark.
- Implement data integration and transformation solutions across structured and unstructured data sources.
- Optimize and manage data storage using Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Synapse Analytics.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance through monitoring, validation, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and timely data solutions.
- Automate workflows and scripting tasks using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years working on Azure cloud platforms.
- Proven expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and PySpark.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell, with hands-on experience in managing data workflows and transformations in Azure environments.
