Workday Functional Lead Compensation
Location : Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC (Onsite only)
5+ years of HR systems experience, with at least 3 years focused on Workday Compensation.
Proven experience leading Workday Compensation implementations or major enhancements.
Strong knowledge of compensation structures, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Workday Pro certification or Partner Certification in Compensation (preferred but not always required).
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of the Workday Compensation module, including base pay, merit, bonus, and advanced compensation plans.
Translate business requirements into system configurations and ensure alignment with compensation policies and compliance standards.
Conduct gap analysis and recommend system or process improvements.
Configure and maintain compensation templates, guidelines, eligibility rules, and security roles.
Act as the functional lead on Workday Compensation projects, including implementations, enhancements, and integrations with payroll or other HR systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and external consultants.
Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the technical Workday team.
Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and communicate configuration decisions and implications.
Train and support HR and Compensation teams in the use of Workday Compensation tools
Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or modified configurations.
Validate data accuracy and system functionality post-implementation
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday Compensation-related issues.
Monitor Workday releases and assess impact on current configuration and business processes.
