Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems' C4ISR team is looking for a proven and experienced electrical engineer to support the Peace Krypton (PK) program.
THE WORK
As a Electrical Engineer in this position, you will:
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
Develop and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
Support internal meetings, prepare presentations, support capacity study/process improvements and support external meetings with Customers
Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role
Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects
Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity

WHO YOU ARE
An experienced Electrical Engineer across a program lifecycle to include experience supporting design milestone reviews.
A candidate with a strong background in systems and electrical engineering, with expertise in requirements development, system design, electrical drawings and specification development, and troubleshooting issues
You will be responsible for participating in the development and presentation of design proposals, detail design and support through the product lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a STEM related discipline
Minimum 9 years of professional experience, or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS, as necessary
Desired skills
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches
Experience working with a hybrid team in multiple locations
Experience in electrical design in aerospace or a similar industry.
Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus.
Experience in working with, and providing technical oversight, to subcontracted supplier
Prior experience with two or more major milestone reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR)
Hardware troubleshooting experience in lab, depot, and production environments

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
