RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Security Analyst in Madison, WI for a 6 months contract. They are looking for someone to start no later than February 1st. It's preferred to be in Madison or Milwaukee (2 days onsite would be preferred).
Summary
The candidate will work within the Security operations team which does security detection and tools. The client is currently working on a Vulnerability management improvement project. The candidate would work and enhance that project (Tenable is what they use). The individual will be talking to users on this team-reaching out to staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bare minimum 5 years of experience needed but really needs at least 8-10 years of experience
* Senior Analyst who can properly analyze events; be a SME; Help build processes
* Tools and platforms: CrowdStrike-EDR, Elasticsearch or different tool would be good; Zscaler, Cyberhaven for data loss prevention-not a deal breaker to not have; Abnormal security is email security and also not a deal breaker to not have
* Azure is not a requirement, but exposure would be great
* Wouldn't have to come from a highly regulated environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
