Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a Penetration Testing SME for a potential opportunity to lead and execute penetration testing efforts on internal and external systems, applications and infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in offensive security methods to uncover and report security weaknesses across digital and physical environments. The Penetration Testing SME demonstrates expert-level knowledge of penetration testing techniques, possesses strong analytical skills and has the ability to develop new testing approaches. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development and culture of an exciting and fast-growing company in the cybersecurity market. Employment for this position is dependent on the successful award of the contract.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conduct penetration tests on internal and external systems, networks, applications and other attack surfaces.
  • Create and develop innovative testing methods to uncover security vulnerabilities.
  • Perform physical security assessments of systems, servers and network devices to identify areas that require physical protection.
  • Document testing results, findings and recommendations clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with security teams to support remediation efforts and validate fixes.
  • Stay current with evolving attack vectors, penetration tools and exploitation techniques.

What you need to know:

  • Expert knowledge of penetration testing tools, techniques and frameworks.
  • Ability to identify, exploit and document vulnerabilities across a wide range of systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks related to information security.

Must have's:

  • Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking.
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or an equivalent certification covers similar level of information security domains or depth of knowledge and/or experience.

Beneficial to have:

  • Secure coding knowledge to strengthen remediation guidance and collaborate effectively with developers.
