Workday Security Configuration Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking two experienced Software Engineers to join our Workday Security team within the HR Technology organization. This horizontal team supports security configurations for all product teams across the enterprise's Workday HCM platform. These new positions are being added to meet increased demand as the team scales to support critical security projects, integrations, and API configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and business processes to ensure secure and compliant operations.
- Collaborate with various HR product teams to support security components of new feature implementations and system enhancements.
- Develop and manage Workday Integrations related to security.
- Participate in the development of new APIs and ensure their alignment with security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues and incidents.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and validation of security configurations.
- Provide guidance and best practices to internal teams regarding Workday security.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Workday Security experience in a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Integrations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and horizontal teams.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Workday Extend.
- Previous experience working in an HR Technology or enterprise HCM environment.
- Familiarity with API development within Workday.
