Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Austin, TX Remote

Job Description:

• 5 Required Manage release, deployment and environment provisioning activities in a continuous integration & delivery pipeline environment.
• 5 Required Create build and deployment plans. Creates builds for all environments. Coordinates and directs developers for build and release duties. Reports schedule and status to management.
• 5 Required Build and maintain a comprehensive plan to manage multiple threads of releases and deployment activities. Advanced verbal and written communication skills required daily to effectively work with variety of teams.
• 5 Required Troubleshoots and resolves complex software integration issues.
• 5 Required Enhance and maintain automation tools. Use shell scripting ANT, MAVN, Perl, Python, JAVA and others to accomplish goals. Automates build processes where possible.
• 5 Required Experience performing systems analysis or build and deployments on business applications software with Atlassian tools (including JIRA, Jama, Confluence, Bamboo, Fisheye), Version Control (Subversion), Java programming, Linux OS, Build and Deployment Rele
• 5 Required Experience in ANT, Maven, and Shell script.
• 5 Required Experience in Python, Perl, Linux administration, Windows server administration (Active Directory, performance tuning, monitoring backups, patching), Tomcat, Apache, continuous integration processes and best practices.
• 5 Required Progressively responsible experience with Cron jobs & batch jobs.
• 4 Required Experience with JIRA and JAMA
• 4 Required Bachelor s Degree in from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or related field, or experience substituted for education on a year for year basis.
• 3 Required Develop tools and processes to improve and automate workflow.
• 3 Required Administrator duties with coordinating activities in JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, Bamboo, and Jama.
• 3 Required Function as team lead for TxDMV deployments and releases. Delegate and plan work assignments, monitor workflow and status of assignments. Review work and monitors task list.
• 3 Required Ensure appropriate CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines are built and executed with automation and utilization of appropriate DevOps tool both Cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• 1 Preferred Minimum TxDMV experience 6mo - 1 year
