Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Problem Manager to join our client's IT Operations team. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving the root causes of recurring technical incidents. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT service management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to produce clear, actionable reports that drive continuous improvement.

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Problem Manager to join our client's IT Operations team. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving the root causes of recurring technical incidents. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT service management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to produce clear, actionable reports that drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Analysis & Resolution
- Investigate and diagnose the root causes of major and recurring incidents.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement long-term solutions and prevent incident recurrence.
- Maintain a known error database and ensure timely resolution of problems.
- Incident Trend Analysis
- Analyze incident data to identify trends, patterns, and systemic issues.
- Work closely with the Incident Management team to ensure seamless handoff and follow-up.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Create detailed problem reports, including root cause analysis (RCA), impact assessments, and resolution plans.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track problem management performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the problem management process.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and organizational policies.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, service desk, and business units.
- Facilitate problem review meetings and post-incident reviews.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT problem management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework (ITIL certification preferred).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ServiceNow reporting).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, and application support environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
