Position Overview
PruTech is seeking a talented Salesforce Pre-Sales Consultant with experience to support our business development efforts under the direction of the Pre-Sales VP. This role combines technical Salesforce expertise with exceptional writing skills to execute RFP responses, develop demonstrations, and contribute to winning new business. The ideal candidate will take direction from pre-sales leadership and work collaboratively with sales and technical teams to deliver compelling proposals and solution presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute RFP/RFI response efforts by coordinating with technical and business teams to develop comprehensive proposals under the direction of pre-sales leadership
- Build and deliver Salesforce demonstrations following specifications provided by the Pre-Sales VP for smaller engagements (<5m$)
- Develop technical content for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials based on provided guidelines and templates
- Implement proof-of-concept solutions to showcase Salesforce capabilities as directed
- Maintain and update the library of reusable proposal content and demonstration scripts
Duties/Responsibilities
- Support the analysis of RFP requirements and execute response strategies that highlight PruTech's capabilities
- Write clear, persuasive technical proposals following established templates and guidance from the Pre-Sales VP
- Build and configure Salesforce demonstration environments according to specified use cases and requirements
- Collaborate with delivery teams to document proposed solutions and ensure proper scoping under leadership guidance
- Research Salesforce product releases and new features to keep demonstration environments current
- Participate in oral presentations and finalist presentations as the technical support specialist
- Track proposal metrics and update content based on feedback and direction from pre-sales leadership
- Research competitor offerings and positioning strategies as assigned
- Assist in developing statements of work and project approach documents following established frameworks
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, English, Communications, or related field
- 5-8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience across multiple clouds
- Strong writing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Good presentation and demonstration skills
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions and Marketing Cloud
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and basic development concepts
- Ability to follow direction and execute RFP responses and technical proposals
- Ability to understand business requirements and implement them in Salesforce solutions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools
