Job Details
A software company is in search of a System Engineer skilled in managing data centers and Linux servers. They seek an individual who excels in a hybrid environment and can proficiently handle Linux servers both on-premises and in the cloud. With a focus on Linux RedHat and CentOS, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, upgrading, and overseeing the Linux data center and infrastructure. Operating within an Azure Cloud environment, they will collaborate closely with AKS.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong Infrastructure background, capable of hands-on tasks such as server rack and stack in the data center. However, they will also have ample opportunities to explore cloud technologies and embrace new tools and techniques.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong Infrastructure background, capable of hands-on tasks such as server rack and stack in the data center. However, they will also have ample opportunities to explore cloud technologies and embrace new tools and techniques.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of Linux Engineering Experience
- Proficiency in Linux Servers, RedHat, RHEL, CentOS
- Strong background in Data Center operations
- Expertise in Azure Cloud
- Working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with Linux Networking (TCP/IP, IPtables)
- VMware vCenter proficiency
- Experience with hybrid cloud technologies, Azure Portal
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ Middleware
- Automation skills, particularly with Ansible
- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk
- Azure or Linux Certifications
