Overview:

TalentFish is casting a line for an IT Analyst! This is a Direct Hire role in Washington DC. Candidates with experience working in a Law Firm environment are strongly preferred.

  • The IT Analyst will play a key role in supporting end users, delivering daily IT operations, facilitating meeting technologies, and assisting in IT projects and initiatives.
  • This role requires technical acumen, customer service, and cross-team collaboration to ensure effective technology support and continuous improvement in service delivery.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years providing direct end-user support in software, hardware, and networking.
  • 3+ years of experience in LAN, WAN, and network systems support and management.
  • 3+ years of experience configuring, installing, and maintaining client PC operating systems.
  • Experience in professional services or law firm environments (preferred).

What You'll Do

  • Provide technical support and solutions to end users via on-site or remote contact.
  • Facilitate and support video conferences, presentations, and meeting technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of meetings and events.
  • Respond to first-level support calls/emails and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Install and maintain software and adhere to IT standards and procedures.
  • Maintain computer and printer availability in the local office.
  • Ensure accurate asset tracking in the firm's asset management system.
  • Create, update, and resolve service tickets using call tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Escalate and coordinate resolution of issues with other IT teams.
  • Participate in IT projects, deployments, and user training initiatives.
  • Support remote access tools, mobile technologies, and best practices.
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned IT service events and provide reporting.
  • Adhere to firm data security policies and promote best practices.
  • Participate in after-hours support and limited travel as needed.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Proficiencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Teams.
  • Advanced use of ServiceNow and remote access technologies (Citrix, VPN).
  • Expertise in mobile device support (iOS, iPadOS).
  • Networking knowledge including cabling, data communication devices, and intranet/internet technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of document management systems (e.g., iManage/Work 10).
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and project management.
  • High-level proficiency in data security and IT compliance best practices.

Compensation Information

This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000-$92,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
