Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Consultant to support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. This position plays a critical role in assisting with the migration of on-premise systems to cloud-based solutions, with a primary focus on supporting complex, secure network environments for investment-related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement on-prem to cloud network solutions
- Provide Level III support for enterprise data networks
- Support and maintain Cisco technologies (ISE, DNAC, FTDs)
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents related to platforms such as Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Charles River, and State Street Bank
- Design and support SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and VPN solutions
- Manage firewall configurations, load balancers (F5), and identity services
- Monitor and automate alerting systems (SolarWinds, Cacti, Gigamon)
- Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation with state staff
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (required)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture and implementation
- 5+ years of experience with SDN, SDA, and Cisco ISE
- Strong knowledge of protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN
- Experience with Cisco networking, firewalls, and network monitoring tools
- Strong documentation and incident resolution reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid certifications such as: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
- Experience supporting financial or investment environments
- Familiarity with network failover and high-availability designs
