Job Details
Installation, Service, and Inspections of Fire Alarms and associated systems
Completion of all necessary paperwork associated with service and inspections
Communicate with customer before and after any call to explain work performed
Ensure timely job completion
Daily communications with Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on
inspection or project delays, requirements and general status of job
Take turns in On-Call rotation
May Mentor Fire and / or Security technicians on tools and technology
Additional Skills &
Qualifications
Familiarity with
NFPA 72, Florida Fire Prevention Code, and local building codes
Minimum 2 years' field experience in inspection, repair, and installation of
fire alarm and security system systems
Extensive knowledge of low voltage systems
Experience working with Fire-Lite and Notifier brands of equipment
Ability to read blueprints
Proficient in the use of computers and smart phones, specifically Microsoft
Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple iOS, and Google Android
High Level of Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills required
Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
