Job Title: Zuora Operations Manager

Overview:
The Zuora Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, optimization, and support of the Zuora billing and revenue platform. This role ensures accurate billing operations, smooth integrations, and compliance with financial processes while driving system enhancements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee Zuora Billing, Payments, and Revenue operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoice generation, payment processing, and revenue recognition.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and IT teams to align Zuora processes with business needs.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for product catalog, subscription management, and workflow automation.
  • Oversee Zuora-related integrations (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, payment gateways).
  • Manage and execute minor enhancements, configuration updates, and workflow changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and support business growth.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Lead or participate in Zuora upgrade, migration, and optimization projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing Zuora Billing/Revenue operations.
  • Strong understanding of subscription billing models, payment processing, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Familiarity with Zuora APIs, workflows, and integrations.
  • Experience collaborating across Finance, Sales, and IT teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
