Your Role:

In this role you will support the integration of various manufacturing equipment with networks, computers, printers, scanners, MES, Data Historian, bespoke applications and SPC systems. They will also manage related project work while collaborating with IT in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, manage, support, and optimize Information Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT) systems integration across various business applications.
  • Own and support Windows Server tech refreshes for servers owned by Data Systems, including application migrations from legacy servers to new infrastructure.
  • Provide support for Infinity QS and Kepware as needed.
  • Manage license renewals, support and maintenance contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Schedule and manage patching and software updates for servers and applications at the MilliporeSigma Jaffrey site.
  • Identify and manage contractors when specialized expertise is required; obtain proposals and collaborate with stakeholders to secure capital for projects.
  • Manage changes using a Change Control System, and support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities; create and update documentation in accordance with change control processes for relevant projects.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or other Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing, building, managing, supporting, and optimizing machine and application integration.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Associate/Admin with strong computer system management skills; Experience in installing and configuring Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, SSRS, and application interfacing.
  • Expert in Kepware configuration and support.
  • Familiarity with OSIsoft/Aveva PI, Siemens Opcenter MES, or Ignition.
  • Experienced with Infinity QS, Proficient, DMS, and DCS applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and VMware administration; experience managing small clusters of Windows servers on VMware and experience with creating scripts using Windows Command Line, PowerShell, and Visual Studio IDE.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS programming, VLANs, firewalls, upgrades, IP addressing, and network hardware.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell software systems (FTTM, RSView, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000), including PLC and HMI programming, configuration, installation, updates, and scripting.
  • Able to explain concepts and train others effectively.
  • Skilled in managing complex technical projects in IT infrastructure, focusing on large corporate campus networks, data centers, and related services.
