Under the supervision of a Technical Unit Supervisor, this position is part of a team responsible for supporting the computer and network infrastructure of a large enterprise environment. Contractor will provide on-site and field service support to various locations and will be based out of the Madison area.

Travel will vary based on workload and project timelines. A minimum of 50% travel is expected, including overnight stays.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support enterprise software and hardware systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software at multiple office and courthouse locations.
- Provide technical customer support and take corrective action as needed.
- Perform field service tasks including hardware upgrades and issue resolution.
- Respond effectively to unplanned events such as system failures or emergencies affecting production systems.
Travel Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to set up computers, peripherals, and A/V equipment
- Knowledge of operating systems and hardware
- Technical troubleshooting skills
- Professional customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of local and wide area networking
- Ability to implement infrastructure hardware and respond to technical emergencies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and practices
Education and Experience - Required
- Associate's degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- Experience providing phone-based technical support
- Experience in hardware/software support and maintenance
- Experience installing and troubleshooting computers, printers, scanners, and peripherals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with audio/visual technologies and video conferencing tools
- Experience supporting Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, Group Policy, and LAN environments
Licensing & Certifications
- Must meet minimum standards for operating a company vehicle
- Must be able to travel with overnight stays as needed
