Job Title: OIPA Engineer
Location: Remote (Must be based in EST Time Zone)Onsite: May require onsite visit once per quarter for meetings
Hybrid Model: Candidate must be open to client hybrid policy. Can be associated with any corporate location:

- Durham, NC
- Merrimack, NH
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, and support Oracle OIPA for Policy Administration.
- Perform OIPA configuration language updates, integrations, AS Files, data intake, and data extraction tasks.
- Build and maintain OIPA extensions, palettes, and application security implementations.
- Work on system screens such as policy, roles, segment, allocation, and valuation.
- Participate in release management, upgrades, and environment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot application issues using Java and SQL.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support OIPA cloud migration and enhancements (AWS/Kubernetes experience is a plus).
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years working with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration System (OIPA) Strong knowledge of:
- OIPA configuration language
- Integrations and AS Files
- Data intake and extraction patterns
- Palette & application security setup
Experience writing SQL queries and debugging in Oracle DB
Hands-on expertise with Java (maintenance, issue fixing, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with:
- WebLogic or WebSphere
- Oracle Enterprise Linux & Windows Server
- UML, design patterns
Experience using tools: - Spring Tool Suite, Eclipse
- UNIX & Windows environments
Strong team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
