IT Communications Field Technician

Seeking an IT Communications Field Technician to support remote industrial sites, ensuring reliable operation of essential IT and communications equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, network cabling, CCTV systems, IP cameras, phones, RFID scanners, and badge security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and structured cabling.

  • Deploy and support CCTV and IP camera systems.

  • Configure and troubleshoot IP phones, RFID scanners, and access badge security equipment.

  • Perform routine site visits for preventive maintenance and rapid resolution of issues at remote locations.

  • Document and report site conditions, incidents, and resolution steps clearly.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience supporting IT communications infrastructure, preferably in industrial or remote-site environments.

  • Hands-on knowledge of networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, or similar).

  • Familiarity with CCTV, IP surveillance, RFID systems, and access control technologies.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently at remote sites.

  • Valid driver s license and willingness to travel regularly.
