Neos is Seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer- Data Integration for a contract role for with our client in Austin, TX.

The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. The primary work location(s) will be at 90% Remote, May be required to meet on-site in Austin, TX at times - 1701 N. Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701.

Position Title: Senior Full-stack Developer
The Senior Full-stack Developer will perform advanced analysis and programming work involving all technical aspects of designing, creating, and maintaining software applications.
This position will work with the Texas Early Childhood Integrated Data System (ECIDS) project team to provide the following Software Development Services:
Perform technical analysis by reviewing the user requirements and create design documents.
Perform coding adhering to TEA and industry standards, best practices, and customer requirements.
Perform testing verifying they match the requirements, as necessary.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required (i.e. design documents, process flows, object or data models, project plans, environment diagrams, test plans, etc.).
Collaborate with the project team for sprint/release work on tasks such as providing development effort estimates, discussing architecture and design, triaging, and resolving defects or issues in multiple environments, and providing status on work assignments or issues.
This work will include:
Identifying the technical specifications and data integration requirements needed for implementation.
Mapping the next steps for system design.
Identifying the methodology necessary to establish an ECIDS in the state.
Building the data governance structure that will support an ECIDS.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
15 Years Required: Creating ETL processes, transporting, aggregating large data sets between systems.
15 Years Required: Experience in SQL Server or Oracle stored procedures, PL/SQL, Dynamic SQL, and exception handling.
10 Years Required: Experience in an object-oriented framework such as .NET Core or Java.
10 Years Required: XML, JSON, API Testing, JavaScript, and JQuery.
10 Years Required: Experience in mid-large sized, complex enterprise-level SDLC.
2 Years Required: Experience with Texas state agencies.
2 Years Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform such as PowerBI and PowerApps.
2 Years Preferred: Experience with project-specific tools such as Jira, Tempo, BitBucket, Confluence.
2 Years Preferred: Scrum/Agile methodologies.
