A leading hedge fund is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and implement advanced machine learning solutions that support investment research, trading, and infrastructure. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy AI/ML tools to enhance investment decision-making and operational efficiency
- Identify and implement ML-driven improvements to internal processes and systems
- Collaborate with data, engineering, and investment teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions
- Optimize model performance and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Contribute to the development of a robust infrastructure for AI/ML applications
- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, LLMs, and data infrastructure
Qualifications:
- 4-10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, ideally in finance or tech
- Proficient in Python, R, or Java
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and statistical modeling
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and LLM tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API)
- Experience with vector databases or knowledge graphs is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
