Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services offers to clients. As an Associate Engineering Technician, you will join the Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D
Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details
Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings
Apply intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and company policies and procedures
Stay updated with industry knowledge and technology trends
Ensure deliverables comply with the company quality program
Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned
Understand basic construction and constructability practices and principles
Apply basic engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to the assigned engineering discipline
Qualifications:
Basic Civil 3D experience is required with use of proposed grading surfaces and plan development - minimum 2 years of experience
Knowledge of Civil design/site layout using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
Autodesk Civil 3D experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation
Diploma or Certificate preferred; Associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology
Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D)
Autodesk AutoCAD experience
Bluebeam experience
The salary range for this role is $45,000 to $65,000 or the hourly equivalent.
