Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement strategies to ensure application services are highly availability
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace and Splunk, analyzing logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for configuration management and operational tasks
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Spring Boot applications for resilience and scalability
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews to improve system reliability
• Implement observability best practices, including dashboards, alerts, and performance tuning
• Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience
• Strong experience in site reliability engineering or resiliency-focused roles
• Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace (APM) and Splunk (log analysis and monitoring)
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot applications and microservices architecture
• Some knowledge of MongoDB, including replication and sharding
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of banking industry processes

Pay range: $45.85 - $53.85
