; Position Summary: We are seeking a Facilities Technician II with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively within a production environment. EPA certification is strongly preferred.

; Top Skills & Qualifications: 13 years of experience in a manufacturing facility as a Facilities Technician or similar role.EPA Certification (strongly preferred).High school diploma required; technical training or trade school in electrical/electronic/mechanical systems preferred.Experience with preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of industrial production equipment.Familiarity with optics manufacturing equipment is a plus.
; Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of production and facility support equipment.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and keep detailed records of service history and repairs.Understand and service production-specific equipment, maintaining compliance with maintenance intervals.Coordinate with production personnel to plan and execute repairs and maintenance with minimal disruption.Maintain accurate records of schematics, parts changes, service reports, and system updates.Support and schedule maintenance of utility and facility systems (HVAC, compressed air, electrical, etc.).Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of instrumentation and building systems.
; Working Conditions: Exposure to mechanical and electrical systems, equipment oil, grease, dust, and manufacturing materials.Requires physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting in a production setting.
; Preferred Experience: Mechanical and electrical maintenance within manufacturing environments.Knowledge of optics or precision manufacturing equipment.Familiarity with safety procedures, OSHA standards, and equipment compliance regulations.
