Finance Business Analyst Oracle ERP (GL & Cash Management)
Location: Tysons Hybrid
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Business Analyst with a strong background in Oracle ERP, specifically in General Ledger (GL) and Cash Management modules. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between finance stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring accurate system configuration and smooth financial operations.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Support and enhance Oracle ERP modules with a focus on General Ledger and Cash Management.
Design, document, and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Participate in the configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle ERP solutions.
Assist in period-close activities, including troubleshooting GL and Cash Management issues.
Work with technical teams to develop functional specifications for customizations and reports.
Develop and execute test plans, support UAT, and provide training to end users.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance post-implementation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of experience as a Finance Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or E-Business Suite, especially in GL and Cash Management.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance operations.
Experience with month-end close processes and bank reconciliation automation.
Proficient in writing functional specs, creating process documentation, and conducting gap analyses.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle certification in Financials or Cloud Financials.
Experience with other Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, FA, etc.).
Exposure to integration tools and reporting platforms like BI Publisher, OTBI, or FBDI.
