Job Description:
  • The client is seeking a laboratory technician to support the Immunoassay Development Lab.
  • The candidate will be a member of a group supporting multiple crop projects for both research and development and product characterization pipelines.
  • The candidate will be an integral part of a team conducting activities aimed at furthering our understanding of protein detection reagents and methods as tools to detect and analyze transgenic proteins.
  • The candidate will work alongside trained analysts and will be directly involved in critical discussions regarding experimental planning, execution, and result analysis.
  • Assist in the development of immunoassays including ELISA and western blots
  • Inventory and database management.
  • Laboratory support, including buffer preparation and equipment maintenance
  • Experimental planning, execution, and results analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor s degree in agriculture, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a lab setting, including pipetting skills and buffer preparation, is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals and biological materials under safety protocols and permits, as necessary.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory systems). Ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to summarize data.
