Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Governance
- Conduct control assessments and reviews of Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes to ensure compliance with firm-wide policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define detailed IAM requirements and design scalable, compliant solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of client requirements, solution designs, and implementation processes for audit readiness and future reference.
SailPoint Implementation & Support
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to optimize IAM processes using SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ.
- Support the ingestion, reconciliation, and certification of user entitlements from third-party applications into SailPoint, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and control adherence.
- Collaborate with application owners and vendor teams to design and validate API-based integrations and automated provisioning workflows.
- Monitor and govern access provisioning, entitlement management, access certifications, and exception handling within SailPoint.
Data Analysis & Standardization
- Analyze, cleanse, and standardize large data sets, including access entitlements, using advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities and data validation techniques.
- Leverage ServiceNow and the CMDB to maintain accurate application and infrastructure inventory, access control mappings, and remediation tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Engage with Technology, Risk, and Audit stakeholders to coordinate control remediation efforts, support audit readiness, and respond to control testing and regulatory inquiries.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, dashboards, and metrics reports for technology risk leadership, audit partners, and business stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Support Front Office Technology with IAM-related activities, including authentication, authorization, and automation of entitlement reconciliations and provisioning workflows.
- Operate effectively and independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Risk, IT Controls, or IT Audit, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Prior exposure to trading-related products, front-office applications, or investment banking environments is a strong plus.
Identity & Access Management Expertise
- Strong understanding of IAM processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ, particularly in entitlement ingestion, certification, and role-based access control implementation.
- Familiarity with APIs and automation techniques for integrating third-party entitlement data into IAM platforms.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, macros, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience with scripting or coding to automate IT processes and data workflows.
- Practical knowledge of ServiceNow and CMDB concepts for asset and access inventory management.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to cleanse, normalize, and reconcile large data sets.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and control issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Project & Process Management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in project and process management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint, including role validation, role creation, and defining access requirements with business owner groups.
- Prior consulting experience in IT Risk, Controls, or Audit domains.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, FFIEC, NIST, or GLBA.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and analytical skills, with a consultative approach to stakeholder engagement.
