About the Role

As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll support the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure network infrastructure. You'll contribute to moderately complex projects, identify opportunities for process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our network systems.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in network engineering who is eager to grow their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support low to moderately complex network engineering initiatives, including research, evaluation, and implementation of solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot network issues related to routing, switching, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance network performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Perform proactive network testing and capacity planning.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of F5 LTM/GTM/APM and VMware AVI controllers.
  • Contribute to change management processes and documentation.
  • Mentor and support junior team members and operations staff.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in network engineering or equivalent experience through a combination of work, education, military service, or training.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, subnets, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN topologies and internet technologies.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure systems such as routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM/APM) and VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi).
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation using Python or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols and internet security best practices.
  • Experience with code upgrades and base builds for network devices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator or VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi) certification.
