OKTA Lead or Architect Job - Germantown, MD GENERAL INFORMATION:
Work Location: Germantown, MD (5 days onsite)
Rate: Competitive
Role: OKTA Lead, OKTA Architect - 2
Priority: High
Visa: Open
Pay-terms: C2C - Corp2Corp
Interviews: Telephone and then video call Key Responsibilities:
13+ years of total experience and about 8 in OKTA. OKTA Administration experience preferred but need a developer.
Design and implement OKTA workflows, policies, and integrations for user lifecycle management.
Develop custom OKTA solutions using APIs, SDKs, and scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
Configure Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
Collaborate with application teams to onboard new apps into OKTA. Troubleshoot and resolve OKTA-related issues and provide ongoing support. Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in IAM strategy discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. Required Skills :
Strong understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC.
Experience with OKTA Workflows, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management.
Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
Familiarity with REST APIs and integration techniques.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their IAM components.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:
OKTA Certified Professional or OKTA Certified Developer.
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Zero Trust architecture.
