About the Position
The Project Engineer is part of the project management team that includes the project manager, project coordinator, and superintendent. The Project Engineer's responsibilities are a sub-set of the Project Manager's responsibilities. This role is a step/building block towards becoming a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. This person must be willing to be teachable and take direction well with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks. Large treatment plant project would be the first project for this role.

The Project Engineer is part of the project management team that includes the project manager, project coordinator, and superintendent. The Project Engineer's responsibilities are a sub-set of the Project Manager's responsibilities. This role is a step/building block towards becoming a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. This person must be willing to be teachable and take direction well with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks. Large treatment plant project would be the first project for this role.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of construction industry experience. Water or wastewater construction experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Construction management, engineering, or another technical field from an accredited university.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-effective manner.
- Strong technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing and implement effective solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with and able to navigate Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Experience with and able to navigate traditional Computer file/folder structure.
- Experience with or ability to learn multiple Construction programs including HCSS Programs and Bluebeam.
- Experience in the construction field is recommended.
- Pre-employment drug testing required.
- Criminal background check required.
