Position: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid 3 days remote, Wednesday mandatory onsite)
Duration: 20 Months
Job Summary:
Seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support IT projects through detailed business analysis, stakeholder collaboration, documentation, and testing. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Maryland State agencies and a strong background in data analysis, process improvement, and Agile methodologies.
Must-Have:
Experience with Maryland State agencies
3+ years of IT Business Analyst experience
Proficiency in JIRA, TFS, DevOps, Confluence, or Trello
Strong documentation skills (BRD, FSD, Use Cases)
SQL, Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau knowledge
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum (CSM certification preferred)
Responsibilities:
Gather, document, and translate business requirements
Analyze processes and propose improvements or automation
Create BRDs, FSDs, and visual process models
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders on solution design
Support UAT and coordinate end-user training and documentation
Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making
