Job Details

As a Junior Technology Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of IT training programs for our employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize our technology systems and applications effectively. Your primary focus will be to enhance our employees' technical competencies, productivity, and engagement through well-crafted and engaging training sessions.

The Junior Technology Trainer must have excellent communication skills and experience adapting IT training deliverables within a fast-paced, evolving technology and business environment. Candidate must be willing/able to learn new systems quickly and deliver end user training solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver new hire technology training on mobile applications and firm specific applications
  • Deliver end user training sessions on core IT systems firm-wide; online and classroom-based training delivery style
  • Work with other members of the Training team to develop standards and procedures for content development and delivery
  • Assist and provide "white glove service style of training to firm's executives and partners
  • Carry out training needs analysis to identify knowledge gaps on existing IT systems implemented firm-wide
  • Where needed, assist with the design of role-specific technology training courses on core IT systems firm-wide
  • Where needed, assist with end user testing as part of Technology team pilots
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of training documentation, including user manuals, FAQs, and how-to guides.
  • Support the IT ServiceDesk team by providing additional user training as needed to resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT training program
  • Assist with supporting the creation of e-learning content in-line with new IT system deployments and existing system functionality
  • Promote and encourage participation in the implementation and use of new/existing technologies

Qualifications:
Candidate must have knowledge on the following topics or technologies: Microsoft 365 core applications, MS Teams, MDM, cloud-based file systems, web conferencing tools

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of experience in a similar IT training role, preferably within a financial services or investment banking environment
  • Strong understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users
  • Ability to learn new processes & systems quickly and translate them into achievable learning objectives
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and modern training methodologies
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated, with a passion for teaching and the ability to engage learners of all levels
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and training needs
  • Comfortable engaging and educating users at various role levels (junior bankers, senior bankers and Management & Operations)
  • Experience of developing clear and concise end user documentation; taking technology language and processes and making them simple to understand
