We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Quality Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. The role is centered around ensuring the highest quality of our products through meticulous inspection and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and auditing. The candidate must also be familiar with IATF standards and SPC. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer system.
2. Conduct audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
3. Develop and implement systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
4. Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements.
5. Rework or reject subassemblies or finished products as required.
6. Conduct statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
7. Audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
8. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
9. Areas of specialization may include: Design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience in Quality Control, Statistical Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, and Auditing.
4. Strong knowledge of IATF standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Proficiency in using various software and technologies for data analysis and reporting.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
10. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
11. Certification in Quality Engineering or related field will be an added advantage.
