Tier II / III support for M365, design and implement new functionality using native M365 applications like Power Platform, Copilot, etc. Provide best practice oversight to ensure a secure M365 tenant while collaborating with other teams like Security, Privacy, Identity, SSO, etc.

4-6 years of M365 administration

Overview:
We're seeking an experienced M365 Lead Engineer to optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing M365 solutions (including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform), driving automation, and ensuring security and compliance across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage M365 services and integrations
Lead cross-functional technical support teams and resolve complex technical issues
Implement security, compliance, and governance policies
Automate processes using PowerShell and other tools
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, serving as the final escalation point for complex M365 incidents
Monitor system performance and support escalations
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for M365 configurations, processes, and best practices. Assist with definition and implementation of governance models for the M365 environment

Skills: Qualifications:

5+ years of M365 administration/engineering experience in large enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Azure AD
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., MS-101, MS-500, Enterprise Administrator Expert)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
